Houston Astros Information

The 2019 Houston Astros are aiming to do what the 2017 Houston Astros did. Make the postseason, dominate the postseason, and win a World Series in dramatic fashion. The popular squad played in the National League since they broke into the pros in 1962 as the Houston Colt 45s. They soon decided that naming a professional team after a handgun might not be the best idea, and they became the Houston Astros a few years later. In recent years, Astros tickets have been hot items throughout the city that is one of the most impressive and highly-regarded in all of North America.

The Astros made it into the World Series in 2005, but were swept 4-0 at the hands of the Chicago White Sox. Between the 2012 and 2013 season, the Astros were switched from the American League West to the National League Central. They showed little regard for the drastic move, mowing through the competition in 2017 and eventually hoisting the trophy that will give every member of the team and staff bragging rights forever.

A glance at the Astros Schedule shows that they will once again be competing against a handful of divisional squads that they have gotten to know well. Thankfully, they are still stacked.

José Altuve is the smallest player in all of professional baseball, and he is also the reigning American League MVP. The AL is a league filled with sluggers and power hitters who are paid good money to simply do one thing – crush the ball as regularly as possible. Altuve has done exactly that over the last few years while anchoring a lineup that is filled with skilled hitters. Veterans Brian McCann and Josh Reddick were added to the fold in the off-season to complement players moving into their prime, such as third baseman Alex Bregman and centerfielder Jake Marisnik.

Located at 501 Crawford Street, Minute Made Park has been the perfect home field for the Astros to work their craft since it opened to the public for its first regular-season game on April 7 of 2000. Everyone reading this article now can easily find a wide array of affordable Astros Tickets, many of which are available for immediate download.
